(1) Pragya Pratishthan will have a Pragya Sabha as the highest body.
(2) The formation of Pragya Sabha will be as follows:-
(a) Chancellor – Chairman
(b) Vice-Chancellor – Vice-President
(c) Vice-Chairman – National Planning Commission – Member
(d) Vice-Chancellor – Member
(e) not more than two persons nominated by the Chancellor from amongst the Vice-Chancellors of the Universities – Member
(f) Three persons nominated by the Chancellor from among the presidents of professional associations related to science and technology established in accordance with prevailing laws - members
(G) Two members nominated by the Chancellor from among the scientific and technical staff working in the Pragya Pratishthan. (j1) Two members nominated by the Chancellor from among fellow academics (J2) Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology – Member
(J3) Two persons nominated by the Chancellor from among at least gazetted first class officers of the Government of Nepal who have worked in the field of science and technology - members
(j4) Two members nominated by the Chancellor from among the people related to science and technology in the industrial sector (j) Pragya-Secretary of Pratishna-Member-Secretary
(3) The nomination of the members under clauses (e), (f), (g), (h), (j1), (j3) and (j4) of sub-section (2) shall be on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor as prescribed. Their term of office will be two years (4) The facilities of the members of the Assembly shall be as prescribed.
