The tasks, duties and powers of the Academic Council shall be as follows:
(a) Conducting study and research programs to provide education in various subjects and levels related to medical science,
(b) To determine the qualifications of teachers required for the establishment,
(c) Preparing curriculum and textbooks,
(d) Selection of students,
(e) conducting examinations and publishing results,
(f) Recommending to the assembly to award degrees and certificates of educational qualification to students who succeed in the examination,
(g) Recommending to the assembly to award prizes and medals to the students who succeed in the best category in the examination,
(h) To recommend to the Assembly to award prizes, medals and honorary degrees to students who have made outstanding contributions in the field of medical science,
(i) Recommending to the assembly to award scholarships to outstanding people and students in studies, training and research conducted by the institute,
(j) Determining fees for study, training and research (k) To implement the decision related to the academic council approved by the assembly, (l) To perform other tasks as specified.
