Establishment of the Authority
: (1) Nepal Electricity Authority has been established to make electricity generation, transmission and distribution efficient, reliable and accessible and to provide adequate arrangements for electricity supply.
(2) The Authority shall be called “Nepal Electricity Authority” in English language.
(3) The head office of the authority will be in Kathmandu.
