Rule 17
Promotion Committee
There will be the following promotion committee to recommend for promotion to the post of military technical service:-
(a) For the above posts:-
(A) Chariot designated by the Commander-in-Chief - Chairman (A) Chief: Deputy Head of Department designated by the Commander-in-Chief (E) Chief. Officer appointed by the Commander-in-Chief - Member (E) Officer in command appointed by the Commander-in-Chief - Member (U) Acting - Member-Secretary
(b) For the post of Assistant Rathi:-
(a) Rathi-Chairman appointed by the Commander-in-Chief (b) Deputy Head of Department appointed by the Commander-in-Chief (e) Commander-in-Chief in command appointed by the Commander-in-Chief Designated Superintendent -Member (U) Military Secretary -Member Secretary (C) For the post of General:- (A) Rathi Designated by Commander-in-Chief -Chairman (B) Acting -Member (E) Commander-in-Chief Commanding Designated Commander -Member (E) Chief Assistant Rathi of the relevant technical group appointed by the Commander-in-Chief or in the absence of the Assistant Rathi of the relevant technical group, the Assistant Rathi appointed by the Commander-in-Chief -Member (U) 8 Military Secretary -Member-Secretary (D) For the posts from Sub-Senani to Pramakh Senani:- (A) The senior most senior officer designated by the Commander-in-Chief -Chairman (A) Worker -Member (D) Officer in command designated by the Commander-in-Chief -Member (E) Assistant Rathi or General of the relevant technical group designated by the Commander-in-Chief -Member (U) Military Secretary -Member-Secretary (E) Amaldar, Hudda, For the post of Jamdar and Subedar:- (a) In case of department or directorate general or directorate, the senior officer appointed by the departmental head or director general or director of the department and in case of other units, the next senior officer appointed by the head of the concerned unit (b) In case of department or directorate general or directorate, departmental head or Two officers or posts designated by the Director General or the Member Director and in the case of other units by the head of the concerned unit (e) In the case of a department or directorate general or directorate, the head of the department or the director general or the member director and in the case of other units by the head of the concerned unit, one level higher than the rank to be promoted One (e) Working Officer or Ex-officio Member-Secretary
