Rule 17
Promotion Committee
:(1) There will be the following promotion committee to recommend for promotion to the post of Military Air Service:-
(a) For the above posts,–
(1) Chariot designated by the Commander-in-Chief - President
(2) Head of department designated by the Commander-in-Chief, Superintendent - Member
(3) Officers designated by the Commander-in-Chief – Member
(4) Subordinates under the command designated by the Commander-in-Chief - Member
(5) Executive – Member – Secretary
(b) For the posts of Mahasenani and Assistant Rathi,-
(1) Chariot designated by the Commander-in-Chief - President
(2) Worker – Member
(3) Subordinates under the command designated by the Commander-in-Chief - Member
(4) Director General, Directorate General of Military Aviation – Member
(5) Military Secretary – Member-Secretary
(c) For the posts from Sub-Senior to Major-Senior,–
(1) Chariot designated by the Commander-in-Chief - President
(2) Worker – Member
(3) Assistant Chariot under the command appointed by the Commander-in-Chief (4) Assistant Rathi-Sadsya
on the staff designated by the Commander-in-Chief (5) Assistant Rathi-Sadasya
of the relevant service group or sub-group designated by the Commander-in-Chief (6) Military Secretary – Member-Secretary
(d) For the post of Subedar,–
(1) The senior officer designated by the director general or head of the agency where the concerned employee is employed - chairman
(2) Directorate General, Air Force, Training Centre, VIP. Officer or post appointed by the director general or head of flight service or maintenance service two members-member
(3) One member of one level higher than the post to be promoted (4) Working Officer – Member – Secretary
(e) For post,-
(1) Directorate General or Air Force Base or Training Center or V.V.I.P. Senior officer designated by the director general or head of flight service or maintenance service - chairman
(2) Directorate General or Air Force Base or Training Center or VIPP. Officer or post appointed by the director general or head of flight service or maintenance service two members-member
(3) One person of one level higher than the post to be promoted - Member
(4) Working Position – Member – Secretary
(2) In the case of an officer, the promotion committee will take action related to the promotion subject to this regulation, after receiving a written report that they have fulfilled the qualifications as per rule 13 for promotion from the military secretary department and in the case of the rank and file.
(3) The chairman, member and member-secretary of the promotion committee shall make a confession as per schedule-3 before working as a member of the promotion committee.
(a) For the above posts,–
