(1) To be a candidate for promotion to the post of officer of military prad service, one must have reached the following minimum service period and must have been working under one level:- Post officer service period to be promoted (a) Sahasenani two years
(b) Soldier seven years
(c) Chief soldier thirteen years
(d) Mahasenani seventeen years
(e) Assistant Rathi twenty years
(f) The above twenty-one years. Bachelor of Laws with ten plus two or so
(3) Bachelor of Military Law
(4) Major Military Bachelor of Laws
(5) Masters in General Law
(6) Assistant Rathi Masters in Law
(7) Master's Degree in the above Law.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), in the case of an officer working in the rank of chief soldier or above at the time when this rule comes into force, even if he does not have a master's degree in law, there will be no hindrance to promotion to such a post for four years from the date of commencement of this rule.
