In these regulations, unless the subject or the context requires otherwise,-
(a) "Court" means a military court constituted under section 67 of the Act and that term also refers to the Appellate Committee constituted under sub-section (7) of section 119.
(b) "Act" means the Military Act, 2063.
(c) "Filling Committee" means the Filling Committee as per Rule 7.
(d) "Prad Officer" means an officer appointed to the Military Prad Service.
(e) "Promotion Committee" means the Promotion Committee as per Rule 17.
(f) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Defense of the Government of Nepal.
(g) "Army Prad Viwak" means the head of the Army Prad Seva.
(h) "Soldier Prad Service" means the service related to Prad officer and Prad rank appointed to perform work related to law and justice in the Nepali Army.
(i) "Soldier Rules" means the Army Service Rules, 2069.
