(1) If the relevant employee who is not satisfied with the promotion based on the assessment of working capacity in the gazetted position of the service, wants to apply for a review of the promotion decision, within thirty-five days from the date of publication of the promotion list according to rule 15. Can submit an application to the commission. The employee who makes such an application should also disclose the clear grounds on which he should be promoted in the application.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the Commission shall review and decide on the application within sixty days from the date of submission of the application.
(3) If the promotion list published for the first time needs to be revised after the application received in accordance with sub-rule (1) is decided as per sub-rule (2), the Commission shall publish such revised list.
(4) If the application under sub-rule (1) is found to be baseless, the reason for the same shall be given to the concerned applicant.
