Section 34
Not deemed to be obstructed
(1) Nothing contained in this Act shall be deemed to prevent any person mentioned in sub-section (2) from doing as follows:-
(a) to receive any notice or information in connection with court proceedings,
(b) to obtain any personal information or details in connection with the investigation or prosecution of any offense in accordance with law,
(c) To make the details of his property public in accordance with the prevailing law,
(d) His educational qualifications, citizenship, passport, driver's license, etc., to be made public by the relevant body,
(e) Publication of any information, information, statistics, news, pictures obtained or collected in the course of maintaining public interest and transparency or doing investigative journalism, except for what is prohibited by the prevailing laws related to printing houses and newspapers and national broadcasting, in a manner that does not prejudice the basic recognition of the privacy of individuals. or to broadcast or in any way make public,
(f) To publish or broadcast his publicly expressed views, opinions or audio visuals and pictures taken in publicly organized events,
(G) To make sound criticism with basis, reason or proof regarding his property and details as per Clause (D) or his opinion, opinion expressed in public or details related to his public work.
(2) For the purpose of sub-section (1), "person" means the following person:-
(a) a person holding public office,
(b) a person involved in the formal process of appointment, nomination or election to a public office or recommended for such office,
(c) A person who has retired from public office or has been released from office,
(d) a person who is publicly known or of public interest or concern,
(e) a person who, for reasons of public interest, morals or ethics, or who is deemed to be required to give notice or information to the general public about an act which is or is about to be contrary to law.
