Rule 24
Children's Education
(1) Taking information about the educational status of the children admitted to the Children's Correctional Home before their admission, the Children's Correctional Home shall arrange formal and informal education according to the interests of the children as follows:-
(a) Before being admitted to the Children's Correctional Home, the children shall . An arrangement to continue the level or class being studied as much as possible,
(b) Compulsory schooling for children according to age and educational level,
(c) For children who are unable to read in their age-appropriate class, educational counseling and necessary additional education should be arranged by evaluating the educational status,
(d) Provision of formal teachers and vocational training providers based on the number of children and their needs and suitability,
(e) availability of school uniforms and educational materials according to the children's needs, (c) proper arrangements for children to take exams.
(2) If it is not possible to run a school immediately inside the children's correctional home, the child correctional home should coordinate with the nearest community school and make arrangements for students to study in such a school.
(3) In addition to non-formal education, the Children's Correctional Home shall provide vocational education and skill development training to the children based on their professional interests and abilities.
(4) The Children's Correctional Institution: shall arrange disability-friendly educational materials and educational activities to ensure the learning of disabled children.
(5) Child: [The reformatory shall make the following arrangements for the socialization of children:-
(a) To provide information regarding legal provisions relating to child rights,
(b) Providing confidence-building training to children by informing them of the challenges and opportunities that will arise when they are rehabilitated in the society; (d) Arrange technical training and skills according to children's interest and age.
