Rule 33
Duties, Duties and Rights of Seed Sample Collector
Duties, Duties and Rights of Seed Sample Collector shall be as follows:-
(a) To see whether the notice and details on the seed containers being sold or kept for sale are correct.
(B) To monitor and inspect whether the seeds being sold and distributed are informed.
(c) To check whether the seed trader has a license.
(d) To inspect whether seeds are sown, sold or distributed in accordance with sub-section 13.2 of section 13 of the Act.
(e) During the monitoring, inspection and examination according to clauses (b) and (c), if it is found that the seed trader has sold and distributed uninformed seeds except for the purpose of agricultural research or has been operating the seed business without obtaining a permit, the crop inspector shall be immediately informed through the fastest means.
(f) According to Clause (a) to inspect and determine the quality of the seed, take the sample and send it to the central or relevant regional seed testing laboratory for testing.
(G) If the seed sample collector does not find it suitable during the inspection or if the quality of the seed seed is not found suitable after the test or if it is found that any action has been taken contrary to the law and regulations, then after taking the opinion of the public prosecutor of the concerned district, filing a case before the officer who hears the case in the format as per schedule-20.
