11.1 If the Ministry deems it necessary to regulate and control the quality of any type or breed of seed used for agricultural work, after consulting the committee, it shall publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette for the seeds of the variety or breed released in Nepal. It can be designated as seed. 11.2 If the Ministry deems it necessary to regulate and control the quality of imported or local varieties of seed used for agricultural work, it may register and designate such varieties or varieties as registered seeds. In this way, the registered seeds should be published on the website of the Ministry of Information and Committee and other suitable means. 11.3 If the provincial ministry wants to notify the seeds of the released varieties or breeds in Nepal that are suitable within its area or to register the seeds of local varieties other than imported seeds, after fulfilling the prescribed criteria and procedures, on the recommendation of the provincial committee, publish a notice in the provincial gazette to inform or register such seeds. can While notifying or registering seeds, the Provincial Ministry shall consult with the committee. 11.4 The ministry or the state ministry shall also specify the type of seed suitable for different areas when prescribing notified seed or registered seed according to sub-section 11.1, 11.2 or 11.3. 11. If the seed registered according to this section is not suitable for cultivation, the registering body shall publish a notice and remove it from the list of registered seed. If the provincial ministry removes the registered seeds from the list in accordance with sub-section 11.3, the committee should be informed about it. 11.6 The process of notifying or registering the varieties of seeds shall be as prescribed, and when such procedures are prescribed, the procedures of notifying the varieties of seeds and registering the imported or local varieties of seeds may be different depending on the nature of the crops.
