: The following persons are not eligible to be appointed to the post of Chairman of the Board:-
(a) Non-Nepalese citizens,
(b) Convicted by a court of law for corruption, extortion, human trafficking and trafficking, sale, distribution or trafficking of narcotics, money laundering, passport misuse, kidnapping or any other criminal offense involving moral turpitude,
(c) having received a departmental punishment such as dismissal from the post and disqualification for future service of the government or public institution,
(d) Having obtained a permanent residence permit of a foreign country,
(e) blacklisted as per prevailing law,
(f) falling into a marriage, or
(g) Mental balance is not right.
