Rule 9
Remuneration, service conditions and facilities of Chairman of the Board

(1) The chairman of the board will receive the same remuneration as the special category of the Government of Nepal from the day he resumes his post. However, if appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board, the person who is receiving pension from the Government of Nepal or majority owned by the Government of Nepal or receiving pension from the Government of Nepal will receive only one of the pension or remuneration according to this rule which he chooses.
(2) The chairman of the board will get the following leave:-
(a) Home Leave : At the rate of one day for twelve days of the period worked excluding public holidays,
(b) Sick Leave : Twelve days every year,
(c) Bhaipari coming and festival holidays: Twelve days every year,
(d) Kiriya leave: If the chairman of the board has to stay in Kiriya according to the clan religion or if his parents, grandparents, children, parents-in-law, husband or wife die, fifteen days,
(e) Maternity leave: If the Chairman of the Board is pregnant, she shall take ninety-eight days before or after delivery,
(f) Maternity Leave: Fifteen days if the wife of the Chairman of the Board gives birth, but such leave shall not be granted more than twice during the period of service.
(3) The chairman of the board shall present the death registration certificate of the deceased person and the documents proving the relationship with the deceased person within fifteen days of his attendance at the office after taking the leave as per clause (d) of sub-rule (2) and appearing at the office upon taking the leave as per clause (e) and (f) of the said sub-rule. The birth certificate of the child should be submitted to the central office of the board within three months.
(4) According to clauses (a) and (b) of sub-rule (2), if the chairman of the board has not used the leave, he will get the amount of the unused leave in proportion to the monthly salary at the end of March.
(5) According to clauses (d), (e) and (f) of sub-rule (2), the Chairman of the Board shall receive full salary while on leave and shall not be entitled to accumulate such leave.
(6) The chairman of the board will receive an amount equal to one month's salary for the festival expenses during the main festival celebrated.
(7) The Chairman of the Board has appointed the Chairman of the BoardAn amount equal to fifteen days of salary will be received for medical treatment expenses every year.
(8) The Chairman of the Board may take leave as per clause (c) of sub-rule (2) himself and other leaves shall be approved by the Ministry.
(9) If the Chairman of the Board has to visit a foreign country in connection with the work of the Board, the approval of the Ministry shall be obtained on the recommendation of the Board.
(10) The Chairman of the Board shall receive daily and visiting allowances similar to those received by special category employees of the Government of Nepal while visiting Nepal or foreign countries in connection with the work of the Board. » 9a. Conduct of Examinations: (1) The examination (SEE) held at the end of class 10 of the secondary level may be conducted at the same time in all provinces or at different times in each province on the date and time determined by the board.
(2) In order to provide assistance to the board for the administration and management of the examination conducted as per sub-rule (1), there shall be a provincial examination administration and management committee as follows in each province:-
(a) Secretary, Ministry of Education of the concerned province - Chairman
(b) Head, State Examination Management Office of the Board -Member
(c) One member nominated by the committee from among the principals of secondary schools within the province. (d) One member nominated by the committee from among the heads of education divisions or branches of the local level within the province. (e) Director, Provincial Directorate of Education Development -Member-Secretary
(3) The meeting of the Committee shall be held at such date, time and place as may be determined by the Chairman of the Committee.
(4) The secretariat of the committee will be in the Directorate of Education Development of the concerned province.
(1) The procedure for the meeting of the committee shall be as determined by the committee itself. 1 First Amendment (6) Chairman and members of the committee shall receive the meeting allowance as determined by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance on the day of the meeting of the committee. 59 B. Work, Duties and Rights of the Committee: (1) The work, duties and rights of the Committee shall be as follows, subject to the policies, standards and procedures determined by the Board:-
(a) BoreTo provide the necessary support and facilitation to the Board to conduct and manage the examination on the date and time specified by the Board,
(b) determining the examination center required for the conduct of the examination,
(c) Coordinating with the District Examination Coordinating Committee in the district while appointing the Center President and other employees and conducting the examination (d) Filling the examination application form to be filled by the student from the school,
(e) To update the details of the examinees to be included in the examination and inform the Board thereof,
(f) If any of the center president, inspector, teacher or staff is found to have committed any irregularity in the examination or any action contrary to the standards determined by the board, to immediately suspend such person and recommend to the board for necessary action,
(g) If irregularities are found in the examination center, to close such examination center and arrange for conducting the examination in another examination center,
(h) Managing the answer book required for the examination,
(i) To carry out work related to examination and revision of answer sheets according to the standards set by the board, 1 First revision (h) To follow the code of conduct issued for the examiner who examines the answer sheet, to cause,
(k) Obtaining the verified answer sheets and entering the scores of the examinees and sending the details to the board for publication of the results,
(l) To recommend to the board for immediate evacuation in case of any disaster during the conduct of the examination,
(d) To provide remuneration and other facilities to those involved in the conduct of examinations, examination of answer sheets and examination, under the direction of the policy of the Board.
(2) The committee may form sub-committees as required for conducting and managing the examination.
(3) The terms of reference and term of office of the sub-committee constituted as per sub-rule (2) shall be as determined by the committee at the time of formation of such sub-committee. Bshga. (2) It shall be the duty of the committee to comply with the instructions given under sub-rule (1).
