Rule 25
Formation of Board
(1) For the purpose of reviewing the fees according to section 35 of the Act, the Government of Nepal may establish an Infrastructure Service Fee Review Board as follows -
(a) A person who has at least fifteen years of experience in the construction or operation of infrastructure or in the finance or financial sector - Chairman
(b) One member from among the persons who has acquired at least ten years of experience in the field of construction or operation of infrastructure after obtaining a master's degree in civil engineering. (c) One person from among the persons who have obtained master's degree in economics and have at least ten years of experience in the relevant field - Member
(d) One of the consumers – Member (2) The relevant licensed person or his designated representative shall be an ex-officio member of the Board (3) The Government of Nepal will nominate the chairman and members as per sub-rule (1).
(4) At least a gazetted second class officer of the National Planning Commission designated by the National Planning Commission will work as the secretary of the board.
(5) The term of office of the chairman and members of the board shall be four years.
(6) The Secretariat of the Board shall be in the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission.
