Rule 27
Official for accepting bids or sealed bids
(1) The following authority shall have the right to approve the bid or sealed price list for construction work or purchase of goods:-
(a) In the case of Metropolitan Corporation,-
(1) up to three crores of rupees by the Secretary,
(2) up to five crores of rupees by the chief,
(3) More than five million rupees by the Metropolitan Corporation.
(b) In case of sub-metropolitan city,-
(1) up to one crore fifty lakh rupees by the Secretary,
(2) up to two crore fifty lakh rupees" by the chief,
(3) More than two million and five million rupees by the sub-metropolitan city.
(c) in the case of a municipality,-
(1) up to seventy five lakh rupees by the Secretary,
(2) up to one crore twenty-five lakh rupees by the chief,
(3) More than one crore twenty-five lakh rupees by the municipality.
