(1) The Government of Nepal shall exempt all customs duties and related taxes and duties on the following goods in accordance with the laws of Nepal issued from time to time, except for service fees such as warehouse rent, transportation fee.

< p>(a) goods for the official use of the mission, and

(b) goods for the household of the diplomatic representative and goods for the personal use of his family.

(2) Customs under sub-section (1). Unless there are serious reasons to consider that the goods are not exempted from customs duty or are prohibited for import or export according to the laws of Nepal or are goods subject to any quarantine exchange (quarantine), inspection or search of the goods of the diplomatic representative will not be done and even if it is done, only in the presence of the diplomatic representative or his representative. Such inspection or search can be done.
