: The work, duties and powers of the Veterinary Inspector shall be as follows :-
(a) To check the quality of animal products, animal product materials, animal drugs or biological substances or to collect samples thereof and send them to the laboratory designated by the department for testing,
(b) If expired animal medicine, biological substance or animal product material is found, complete the procedure of rule 18 and destroy it and send the information in writing to the department.
(c) Check whether the sale and distribution of animal medicine or organic matter is done by an authorized person and inform the department (d) checking whether a commercial farm has regularly vaccinated animals, adopted biosecurity measures or not,
(e) If an animal is found to be infected with a disease during the examination as per Clause (d) or if it is suspected, to order the destruction of such animal or to keep it separately or to stop its sale and distribution and to inform the department as soon as possible,
(f) If a letter of recommendation or a permit has been provided by the department in accordance with this regulation, inspect whether it is in accordance with it and submit a report to the department.
(G) Collect suggestions on the ground regarding animal breed improvement and send them to the department (h) To cause the culling of male animals in the area where animal breeding reform has been implemented,
(i) Spreading propaganda to increase public awareness regarding animal breed improvement (j) To monitor whether the use of animal breeds and semen is as recommended or not for animal breed improvement,
(k) To do or have other work prescribed by the department.
