(1) Officials or employees who visit at government expense should, as far as possible, use affordable and less expensive roads or vehicles.
(2) When visiting a gazetted employee or an official or employee of a higher rank, he/she shall use air transportation when visiting a place where air transportation is operated, and other means of transportation when visiting a place where air transportation is not operated or when other employees are visiting. However, in the event that only air transport is available and not other means of transport, the authority making the tour order or decision may give permission to other employees to use air transport as well.
