: (1) The voter ID card will contain the following details:-
(a) Voter ID card paper shall be white in color.
(b) Voter's ID card shall contain a photo of the concerned voter with both ears clearly visible on the upper right side. The voter ID card with the photograph of the voter will be prepared by computer technology and it will also be laminated.
(c) Size of voter ID card maximum 6x10 cm. will be up to .
(d) The voter ID card will have a technical arrangement that cannot be duplicated.
(e) The voter ID card will have the target stamp of Nepal on the upper left side.
(f) The voter ID card will mention "Government of Nepal, Election Commission Voter ID Card" in the middle.
(2) The following details shall also be mentioned in the voter ID card as per sub-rule (1):-
(a) Voter's Identity Card No.
(b) Voter's Name, Surname
(c) Voter's date of birth
(d) Sex of elector
(e) Name, surname and relationship of the elector's father/husband (f) Voter's address: House no. ……………..DISTRICT………………, CONSTITUENCY NO. ……………..Ga. v. S.÷N.Pa. ………………………..Ward no. …………….Village or Toll ………………………………………..
(g) Signature of Chief Identity Card Distribution Officer
(h) Name, Surname, Rank
of Principal Identity Card Distribution Officer (i) Date of issue of voter ID card.
(3) According to clause (a) of sub-rule (2) voter's ID card no. It will be separate for each voter as determined by the Commission.
(4) The format of voter ID card to be provided to the voters according to Rule 7 shall be as specified in Form No. 1.
