(1) The polling officer shall give the ballot paper to the electors present for voting at the polling station in the prescribed manner.
(2) Before giving the ballot paper to the voters, the polling officer shall give the ballot paper to the person specified in the voter's list.
(3) The voter shall cast his vote secretly by affixing the specified seal or mark on the ballot paper.
(4) When voting in accordance with this Act, the voter shall put a seal or mark as per sub-section (3) in the room of any one of the candidates he has chosen on the ballot paper and cast his vote in the ballot box as prescribed.
(5) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this Act, in cases where electronic equipment is used for the purpose of voting, the voter shall vote by electronic equipment as prescribed.
