(1) The Election Officer shall verify the ballots provided by the Commission. It should be checked whether or not the ballot papers are printed in the format prescribed by the commission and whether the election symbols determined by the commission for the parties and candidates and the serial number on the bottom of the ballot paper are clearly mentioned in each ballot paper.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if any ballot paper is not in the format prescribed by the Commission, if any party or candidate's election symbol is omitted or repeated on the ballot paper, serial number is not mentioned on the bottom of the ballot paper or any other technical error is found, the election officer shall separate such ballot paper and pay the fine. It should be done. The Election Officer shall immediately provide the information regarding the details of the ballot papers so separated to the Commission.
