(1) The nomination paper will be invalid in the following cases:-
(a) If the candidate is not qualified according to the Constitution and this Act,
(b) In the absence of the consent of the person to be nominated or in the absence of his signature or of his proposer and supporter or in the absence of a signature,
(c) If the nomination paper is not registered within the prescribed time as per sub-section (2) of section 7,
(d) If the nomination paper is not filed as written in section 18, 19 and 20,
(e) If the bond is not filed as per section 70,
(f) If it is not reached in other ways according to this Act.
(2) Contrary to sub-section (2) of section 14, if a candidate whose name is included in the closed list for the proportional election system is a candidate for the first-past-the-post election system, his nomination paper for the first-past-the-post election system will be void.
