(1) A battery business person who wants to do battery business must have fulfilled the criteria as per schedule-8 to register his business with the relevant body according to the prevailing law or to get approval or permission from such body for that business. Explanation: For the purpose of this paragraph, "related body" means the body that registers the business of batteries or is empowered according to the prevailing law to grant approval or permission for that purpose. The battery businessmen who have received approval or permission from the relevant body shall inform the relevant body within ninety days from the date of commencement of this rule by fulfilling the criteria of sub-rule (1).
