Section 49
Delayed delivery of goods
If the goods are not delivered to the consignee within the following time, the delivery of goods shall be deemed to be delayed:-
(a) If the time for delivery of the goods is fixed, within the time so fixed,
(b) Within thirty days from the date of issue of the railway receipt if the time is not fixed as per clause (a).
