Rule 116
Returning samples of goods

(1) Bidders who fail to evaluate their bids may make a written request to the relevant local authority to withdraw the samples of the goods they have submitted within seven days of signing the purchase agreement.
(2) Upon request according to sub-rule (1), if the sample of such goods is not destroyed during the test, the local body shall return such sample to the bidder in such a way that all expenses including transportation and packaging are borne by the bidder.
(3) For the purpose of comparing the samples of the goods submitted by the bidder of the accepted bid with the goods to be supplied, the local body shall be certified by the bid evaluation committee and kept safe.
