Section 8
Duties, Duties and Powers of Chief Electoral Officer
(1) It shall be the duty of the Chief Electoral Officer to coordinate and supervise the work related to the election within the assigned district under the direction of the Commission and give necessary instructions.
(2) The Chief Electoral Officer shall exercise the functions, duties and powers of the local level election officer of the district or district headquarters assigned to him.
