: (1) If the offender brings the amount to be paid within the period of the notice given under section 14, the amount shall be accepted and the action against him shall be kept in custody. If the amount is not paid, the investigating officer will have to file a case in the relevant district court within thirty days from the date of expiry.
(2) For the purpose of filing a case in accordance with sub-section (1), the investigation officer shall do so in accordance with section 31 of the Government Cases Act, 2049.
(3) When proceeding and disposing of the case filed in accordance with sub-section (1), the District Court shall adopt the procedure in accordance with this Act in the matters written in this Act and in the case of other matters in accordance with the Brief Procedures Act, 2028.
