Rule 20A
Basis for recognition of Medical College by Council

(1) Section 7A of the Act. For the purpose of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of (a) If it is a medical college operated by the non-government or private sector, established and registered in accordance with the prevailing law,
(b) Medical College and Teaching Hospital established at the same location or adjacent to each other,
(c) obtained affiliation with the University,
(d) Completing the following educational and physical infrastructure to conduct undergraduate level courses in medical or dental subjects related to medicine:-
(1) Adequate teachers, educational materials, tools and equipment are arranged for the basic sciences of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, biochemistry and community medicine departments,
(2) Adequate provision of educational, administrative and residential buildings,
(3) Established a library on medical subjects,
(4) At least seventy-five ropani of the land owned by the medical college proposed for conducting the undergraduate medical course and at least forty ropani of the land owned by the proposed medical college for conducting the undergraduate dental course,
(5) M.B.B.S. There is an arrangement of a current general hospital with at least three hundred beds for conducting the course and a current general hospital of at least one hundred beds for the operation of the dental course, a hospital with at least three specialist services in dentistry including twenty-five units of dental chair,
(6) Educational, administrative and teaching hospital and residential building construction and expansion plans have been prepared.
(2) Before conducting postgraduate courses in medical or dental subjects of medicine, the students of the first group must have completed the course by conducting undergraduate medical or dental courses.
(3) The Council shall provide necessary teachers, educational materials, tools, equipment, hospital and other necessary infrastructure for quality education in the medical or dental college.Can make arrangements by making rules.
(4) The infrastructure and standards mentioned in this rule must be completed by the medical or dental college before starting the proposed course, and the institution operating the medical college must develop the infrastructure in an orderly manner as specified by the council.
