Rule 53
A Conciliator's Choice

(1) A person or organization chosen by both sides of the case shall be designated as a conciliator. However, if the parties could not reach an agreement and the parties request that a conciliator be appointed by the court, a conciliator can be appointed by the court.
(2) In accordance with sub-rule (1), the selection of the conciliator shall be done by the conciliator subject to this regulation. 29 (3) If the party to the case requests to appoint a person or an organization whose name is not included in the list of conciliators as a conciliator, such person or organization shall be designated as a conciliator only after completing the process of including the name of such person or organization in the list of conciliators.
