Section 93
Name of transport service to be registered

(1) The vehicle owner or manager shall not use the name of the transport service in the operation of any public vehicle transport service without registering it with the department.
(2) The vehicle owner or manager who wants to register the name of the transport service with the department must submit an application to the department, attaching the prescribed fee in the prescribed format for the registration of such service.
(3) Upon the application made as per sub-section (2), if the department deems it suitable to register the name of such transport service after carrying out the necessary investigation, it will issue a permit to the applicant to operate the transport service under that name in the format as per Schedule-8. If the vehicle owner or manager who has a license to operate such transport service wants to stop providing such transport service, he must take the prior approval of the department.
(4) The permit given in accordance with sub-section (3) shall be valid for five years from the date of its issuance.
(5) According to this section, the arrangements regarding the appointment, service conditions and facilities of the employees working in the registered transport service shall be as prescribed.
