Section 34
Yatrigunta is considered lost
(1) If a passenger does not hand over his/her registered passenger's ticket to the head of the station within seven days from the date of his/her request to the station head, the ticket shall be considered lost.
(2) If the lost passenger ticket is found within fifteen days according to sub-section (1), the station head shall immediately notify the concerned passenger and surrender such passenger ticket. If the traveler has received any compensation for paying the traveler's ticket in such a way, he will have to return that amount.
(3) If the concerned passenger does not come to claim the passenger seat within thirty days from the date of travel, the ownership of the board in such passenger seat may be maintained by completing the prescribed procedure.
