(1) When joining the health insurance program, the contribution amount, co-payment and payment arrangements will be as specified. However, the contribution amount will be determined based on the annual income.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the government of Nepal, the provincial government and the local government shall bear the amount of contribution of the target groups including the economically disadvantaged and the poor as prescribed.
