(1) There shall be a health insurance fund for the implementation of the health insurance program.
(2) The following funds shall be in the fund as per sub-section (1):-
(a) Subsidy amount received from Nepal Government, State Government and Local Government,
(b) Amounts received from contributors,
(c) Funds received from indigenous associations, organizations or individuals,
(d) Funds received from foreign governments, associations, organizations or individuals,
(e) Amounts earned by the Board and received from other sources.
(3) The approval of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance should be obtained before receiving the amount as per clause (d) of sub-section (2).
(4) The amount of the fund should be opened and deposited in an "A" class commercial bank within Nepal designated by the board.
(5) The operation of the account of the Fund shall be by the joint signature of the Executive Director and the Head of Accounts.
