(1) A civil servant shall not engage in activities that promote the personal, professional or political interests of any political office bearer.
(2) A civil servant shall not express any opinion in support or opposition to any political party, their sister organization or the leader of any party or influence anyone to support or oppose it. In case of trade union, it will be as mentioned in the same Act.
(3) Civil servants should maintain complete political neutrality while fulfilling their official duties.
