Rule 2
Definition
Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this regulation,- (a) "Civil Service Employee" means an employee employed in the Civil Service as per the Civil Service Act, 2049 and the term also refers to an employee employed in the Health Service as per the Health Service Act, 2053.
(b) "Family" shall mean the husband, wife, son, unmarried daughter, adopted son, unmarried adopted daughter, father, mother or step-mother living with the civil servant or having to be maintained by him, and in the case of male and unmarried female employees, his wife , and in the case of married female employees, it also refers to their mother-in-law, father-in-law.
(c) "Office" means the ministry, secretariat, commission, department or any other government agency or office under the Government of Nepal where civil servants are employed.
