Section 47
Political Consultation Meeting

(1) The Commission may organize political consultation meetings from time to time to consult, interact and discuss the following matters with the parties:-
(a) Regarding electoral system,
(b) Laws relating to elections and political parties (c) relating to elections or plebiscites,
(d) Accounts and audit of political parties,
(e) relating to any legal or policy matter prepared by the Commission (f) Other matters deemed appropriate by the Commission.
(2) For the purposes of sub-section (1), the Commission may invite the office-bearers of the political parties represented in the Federal Parliament or the Provincial Assembly.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2), the Commission may invite such officials if the presence of the chief officials of the party is necessary to discuss, consult or interact on any important matter.
(4) It shall be the duty of the concerned party and its officials to participate in such meeting if invited according to sub-section (2) or (3).
(5) The Commission may organize political consultation meetings at the provincial level or even at the district level as required.
(6) Other procedures related to the consultation meeting of political parties shall be as prescribed by the Commission.
