(1) In order to effectively control corruption-related activities and increase public awareness against corruption, the Government of Nepal may establish a National Vigilance Center under the direct supervision and control of the Prime Minister.
(2) As the head of the center as per sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may appoint any officer of a special category of civil service and the center will have employees of the service of the Government of Nepal as per the requirement.
