Rule 8
Issuance of passport

(1) According to rule 7, upon the application submitted to the district administration office or mission for passport, if it is found appropriate to issue a passport when the office or mission investigates the documents received by the district administration office or mission, a copy of the complete application along with the recommendation shall be recorded and recommended. and should be sent to the office along with the documents.

(2) When investigating the passport application according to sub-rule (1), if it is not suitable to issue a passport to the applicant because the necessary documents are not sufficient, the regional administration office, the district administration office or the delegation will inform the applicant. (3) When the district administration office or delegation sends the documents to the office along with the recommendation according to sub-rule (1), it should be sent within one week from the date of completion of the investigation on the passport application.

(4) According to this rule, the department will have to issue a passport in accordance with rule 9 after conducting necessary investigation on the application and documents received before the office.

(5) The applicant given according to rule 7 If gender other than male or female is mentioned in the application, and if such behavior is also mentioned in the citizenship certificate of the applicant concerned, the passport will be issued with the corresponding gender identity mentioned.
