(1) If an application of a person for a passport is received in accordance with this regulation, the office shall issue a passport to the applicant concerned.

(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), rule 7 If an application for a passport is received at the office through the district administration office or delegation, the office can send the passport to the concerned applicant through the relevant district administration office or delegation.

However, if the applicant wants to collect the passport from the office, take a copy of the applicant's identification details. The concerned applicant can be provided with a passport from the office.
