Section 126
Withholding
: (1) The Registrar or an officer authorized by the Registrar may, in addition to fining the concerned cooperative organization in accordance with Section 125, freeze the business, property and bank account of such cooperative organization for three months and recommend to the concerned body to freeze the assets.
(2) If the recommendation under sub-section (1) is received, the business, property or bank account of such cooperative organization shall be frozen and the information thereof shall be given to the registrar or the officer authorized by the registrar.
