(1) The license holder shall pay royalty to the Government of Nepal at the rate of one hundred rupees per installed kilowatt per year and 2 percent of the gross selling price per unit (kilowatt hour) for fifteen years after starting the commercial production of hydropower.
(2) After the period mentioned in sub-section (1), the person who has received the license shall pay royalty to the Government of Nepal at the rate of one thousand rupees per connected kilowatt per year and 10 percent of the gross selling price per unit (kilowatt hour).
