(1) The duration of the license will be valid for one financial year. The application should be submitted to the issuing authority.
(3) On the application received for license renewal as per sub-rule (2), the licensing authority may renew such license by charging half of the fee as per rule 9. But the television channel or FM that produces the program itself and broadcasts it through terrestrial, satellite or cable. Radio and So. If all types of links and receivers used under the license are renewed by the end of June 2078, such organizations or individuals will get a full discount on the renewal fee for the financial year 2078/79.
(4) In case of renewing the license after the payment of the term as per sub-rule (2), ten percent for the first one month, twenty percent for the second one month, thirty percent for the third one month, forty percent for the fourth one month, fifty percent for the fifth one month and sixth for one month. The licensing authority will renew such license after taking 100% penalty. If the license is not renewed even within 6 months, such license will automatically be cancelled.
(4A.) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (4), a person who has not renewed his license at the time of commencement of this sub-rule may apply to the licensing authority for renewal of such license within three months from the date of commencement of this sub-rule.
(4b.) If the application as per sub-rule (4a) is received, the licensing authority shall renew such license by charging the renewal fee as per sub-rule (3), 100% fine as per sub-rule (4) and an additional fine equal to the fine amount.
(5) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rules (2) and (3), a license granted for a short period shall be valid only for the period specified in the licence.
