Rule 17
Written registration

(1) If a person wants to register any document before the court, such document should be submitted to the concerned officer.
(2) The concerned officer shall examine the documents submitted as per sub-rule (1) as follows:-
(a) Non-compliance with the legal framework,
(b) Limitation, whether it is within the time limit, whether it is within the jurisdiction of the court, whether it is rightful, whether it has any legal basis, whether it is required to be disclosed, whether it is not disclosed, whether there is any inaccuracy, incompleteness or ambiguity in the writing, presentation or mention of the document, whether there is any difference in numbers and letters. Whether or not it is written in polite language and not reached in other ways.
(3) If it is found that the procedure has been done during the examination according to sub-rule (2), the concerned officer shall register such a document.
(4) When checking according to sub-rule (2), such document is not in accordance with the format according to the law, is not disclosed, has inaccuracy, incompleteness or ambiguity in writing, presentation or mention, or is different in numbers and letters, is not written in polite language and such error is corrected. If the document is found to be registrable, the first page of the document must be signed by the relevant officer and returned with the seal of the court.
(5) According to sub-rule (4), if there is more than three days of limitation or deadline left for the return of the document, within the remaining limit or deadline, and if there is less than three days of limitation or deadline left, the document shall be registered within three days from the date of return. will fall.
(6) After registering the document in accordance with this rule, the person bringing it for registration shall be duly stamped and the registration number and date shall be given to the person bringing it for registration.
(7) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, when the court provides for the registration of a document by electronic means, the document may be registered accordingly.
(8) For the registration of any document according to sub-rule (7), the concerned officer may order the submission of the complete document within a fixed period if he deems it necessary.
