Section 477
Things to be disclosed in the document When making a
transaction, the following things should be disclosed according to the nature of the transaction:-
(a) Name, surname, age, address and name of father, mother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, but in case of a married person, the name of husband and wife should also be mentioned.
(b) the reason for the transaction,
(c) Amount of Transaction,
(d) the value of any commodity for which such commodity has been transacted,
(e) If an item is allowed to be taken by pawn, pawn or in any other manner, to be returned after a certain time, such transaction,
(f) If any thing has been leased in exchange, such transaction,
(g) Date of payment of the amount transacted,
(h) Charge of interest during transaction, rate of interest if given,
(i) If the amount of the transaction is not paid within the stipulated time or if other conditions as per the document are not fulfilled, the creditor can recover the amount of the transaction from the property of the debtor,
(j) place of writing,
(k) date of preparation of document,
(l) Other necessary matters to be disclosed according to the nature of the transaction.
