(1) When the ministers go out of Nepal for official work or to participate in various functions, festivals, conferences, etc. on behalf of the Government of Nepal, they will get clothing allowance once in three years at the following rates:-
(a) Prime Minister – Rs. 6,200.-
(b) Deputy Prime Minister – Rs. 5,700.-
(c) Minister – Rs. 5,670.-
(d) Minister of State – Rs. 5,320.-
(e) Assistant Minister – Rs. 4,320.-
(2) According to sub-section (1), if the minister gets permission to take his wife with him while going outside Nepal, he will get half of his monthly salary for his wife as clothing allowance once in three years.
