Rule 62
Expansion of forest produce
(1) If the private forest owner uses the forest produce of the private forest for his own purpose in the same place where there is a private forest, he must open the type and quantity of the forest produce with the recommendation of the member of the concerned village development committee or municipality at least twenty-four hours before using it through the relevant area forest office or directly. It can be used by giving notice in writing to the district forest office.
(2) The owner of the private forest registered in accordance with this paragraph, while distributing the forest produce of the private forest, shall open the species and quantity of the forest produce with the recommendation of the member of the concerned village development committee or municipality, at least twenty-four hours prior to the distribution of the transport, by giving a written notice to the relevant district forest office. It will be possible to carry out private forest products by making a visit to the forest check post.
(3) A private forest owner who is not registered in accordance with this paragraph shall submit an application for felling of trees from the forest produce of the private forest through the relevant area forest office or directly to the district forest office, as amended by the fifth amendment. The District Forest Officer will be able to give permission to cut down the tree after conducting the necessary investigation on the application.
(4) During the transportation of private forest timber as per sub-rule (3), the timber can be transported after obtaining the supply from the concerned district forest office and submitting it to the forest check post.
(4A) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rules (3) and (4), a private forest owner who is not registered in accordance with this paragraph may cut down the trees in such private forest as per Schedule-26 without obtaining a permit and may transport the wood thereof without taking firewood.< br> (4B) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, a private forest owner who is not registered in accordance with this paragraph may distribute the herbs or other forest products in such private forest as per schedule-27 without taking any reserve.
(4c) In accordance with sub-rules (4a) and (4b) when transporting firewood, herbs or other forest products, from the relevant district forest office or the local forest office within the jurisdiction of that office, in the case of firewood, in accordance with schedule-28 and in the case of herbs or other forest products, schedule- According to 29Cost must be verified.
(5) The government of Nepal shall publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and submit an application to the designated authority or committee to extend the logging of private forest before the commencement of this regulation. Based on the application, the officer or the committee appointed in that manner should make a decision after making the necessary investigation and then proceed accordingly.
