For the purpose of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Act, the proposer shall carry out a brief environmental study in the case of the proposal mentioned in schedule-1, of the proposal mentioned in schedule-2. In case of preliminary environmental test and in case of proposal mentioned in Schedule-3, environmental impact assessment should be done.
