Section 41
Annual report to be submitted
(1) Ministries and departments and other central level government bodies shall prepare an annual report including the programs conducted throughout that financial year, the work completed and the status and progress of such work and other necessary matters including costs within the period specified by the end of each financial year and submit to the ministry or central government. If it is a level body, it should be submitted to the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, if it is a department, it should be submitted to the relevant ministry, and if it is from other offices and bodies, it should be submitted to the taluk office. Such a report can also be published publicly as per the requirement after taking the approval of a higher body.
(2) In the report under sub-section (1), in addition to what is written in that sub-section, the relevant ministry or agency shall mention the reform program and the results obtained from it to maintain good governance in such ministry or agency or the offices under it.
(3) The Prime Minister shall include in the report according to Article 53 of the Constitution of Nepal and submit it to the Federal Parliament every year on the basis of the report according to sub-section (1) regarding the significant progress made in relation to government reform and good governance.
