Section 96
Deranged accused can be handed over to the rightful or custodian
: If any rightful or custodian of the accused who is in custody in accordance with section 93 submits an application to keep or take charge of the accused, such accused will be taken care of, not to harm himself or anyone else and for the purpose of examination before the designated officer at the specified time and date. If the Ministry of Defense is satisfied that he will be present, the Ministry can hand him over to his rightful owner or custodian.
